Another Letter that caught my Eye...

I hope someday my kids will actually take the time to read through all of these letter I am collecting. I do not often wax eloquent, and my spelling is frequently atrocious ( I have used spell check twice already in this sentence), but I love my kids and really want them to grow into the amazing people I know they can become.

This morning after another short night's sleep (homework and nursing are not a good combo) I found this beauty on facebook. I hope you will enjoy the message.

I could not ask for a better "boring man" than Michael. He is truly the light of my life, each day I am so grateful that he has share 16 years with me (ok, not 'til December 23rd) and has been the main stay of our family everyday. Even when he is struggling to stay awake and aware (when he is off his thyroid meds) he does everything in his power to show the kids how much he cares and to make sure they are taken care of. There is no better father and husband in the world, and I am truly blessed. I hope we have another 50 "boring" years of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren!

P.S. If you only see this post once and then it is gone it is because Mike deleted it! I know he will be embarrassed about the pictures. But I also want the kids to have a record of their amazing dad, so I sneak one whenever I can get it!

7 Months!

Time flies, and babies grow way too fast! We are enjoying everyday with our happy little blessing. He keeps us all smiling an laughing with his talking and dolphin noises. Each day seems to bring a new little (or loud) sound to his vocabulary.

On Sunday November 3 he got his first tooth. It is a sharp little thing and he is happy to have it out. It has been plaguing him for months.

It took me a whole week, lots of funny faces, and a bunch of silly sounds to get a picture where you could see it!
I decided to take seven month pictures at the same time, I know they are a few days early, but I had a captive, and happy, audience.

Now if I could get the big kids to let me take some photos we would be ready for Christmas gifts. Oh, and that silly family photo we keep planning... Hopefully soon!

October was a Blur...

So, October was a blur. We took a quick trip to Vernal, Utah for a baby blessing,
a 3 day trip to Southern Utah for UEA, Charlotte was in her first play,
She didn't want a picture of her costume. As soon as I see the CD from the play I will post more. She was front and center for her dances!
Chillin' on the couch in Mom's glasses!
Six Months!

Michael started the Trombone, Stormond turned 6 months,
I took 2 Chemistry tests, Mike wrote training and modules, we did a little cleaning, and we ate a lot of fast food. I'm sure I missed something, but I am exhausted writing all of that, so I am going to let it go.

Oh, yea, we had a great Halloween. The weather was cool, but not nasty. The kids had a great time and I got a good long walk up the hill, then down the hill, back up the hill, across the hill, then FINALLY all the way down the hill.

I got the MOST UNIQUE award at the ward chili cook-off. Mike says that is because it is gross, I thought it was good after some modification. It is a vegetarian Pumpkin chili, next time I will double the amount of pumpkin.

Stormond had his first experience in a swing in Roosevelt Utah. He LOVED it!

Kids in Roosevelt
Michael loved his Ghostbuster costume and is planning modifications for next year!
Michael did ten laps at the school fun run!

Saturday I did 3 triple loads, one maxi load and 2 mega loads at the laundromat. If I could afford to do it all in three hour every week, I could get used to that!

Found these today when I up loaded photos. Sorry they took so long to find Anna!
